"Was a little unsure if the scoop would be any better than the two old ones I have, but it was. It is made of a hard, lightweight plastic with a hollow handle. It's a good size and allows the loose litter to fall back into the tray without much shaking. It also scoops very well. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase and I'm considering buying a 2nd as my 21 yr old cat likes a choice of 2 trays in different rooms. At his age he's entitled to demand good service and good servants."
